As every year, Sieghard made it possible for us to organize a small exhibition at KOM in Altach. The exhibition on October 13 and 14 was once again themed “Sammelsurium”, as a wide variety of exhibits were on display. These ranged from thematic exhibits and postcard exhibits to a wonderful exhibition of Austrian 9-cross stamps. I personally learned a lot from this exhibit in particular, but also from the postcards. Parallel to the exhibition, the visitors were once again treated to excellent catering with the highest art of baking. A teacher also came by briefly with 9 pupils, who were delighted with the rummage table. The variety of stamp motifs – from fairy tales and comic figures to animal motifs and works of art – was enthusiastically received. The two days were well worth the trip for us.
