The stamp was designed by Leng Bingchuan, who depicts a vital, elegant and enchanting dragon – and not a tyrant. This special expression of the dragon is emphasized by the freehand brushwork used and the gold foil embossing. The dragon not only represents the most popular sign of the zodiac in China, but was also the symbol of the emperor. As a mythical creature, it stands for long life, happiness, prosperity and growth.
