Picture postcard with the first stamps of Liechtenstein. 5 Heller green, 10 Heller pink, and 25 Heller blue, all on chalk paper. The official date of issue of these stamps was 1.2.1912. Here, however, they were already canceled in Vaduz on 29.1.1912 with a triple single-circle cancel used from 1.12.1886 to 22.3.1912. In Schaan, these stamps were even canceled as early as 28.1.1912. The original designs for these stamps are in the Liechtenstein Postal Museum.
