This weekend, from 6 to 8 March 2026, the Philatelia Munich took place in Munich, an established stamp fair in southern Germany. Collectors, dealers and interested visitors used the event to see new issues, acquire postal items – such as the Austrian souvenir sheet – and exchange ideas about various collecting fields.
We were represented there jointly on behalf of ÖSVLPH and LPHV. In cooperation with the International Stamp Club Rosenegg and the Study Group for Medicine and Pharmacy, we presented the latest new issues of Liechtenstein Philately. These were also shown through a promotional film on our interactive screen. This presentation provided a clear and engaging way to introduce the issues and their motifs and to start conversations with visitors.
One of the most important aspects of the fair for us is always the personal encounters. We had discussions with collector friends, acquaintances and other philatelists about various collecting areas, new issues and the current situation of philately and its associations.
Unfortunately, no new members could be recruited. Nevertheless, the fair provided a good opportunity to present our activities, maintain existing contacts and continue the exchange within the philatelic community.
