Over the summer – based on declining corona incidence numbers – club meetings started to take place again in presence.
- At one of our neighboring clubs – the Stamp Club Bludenz – the day of the week has shifted. In Bludenz they now meet every 1st Tuesday of the month in the Remise – 7pm (no longer Mondays!).
- The meeting of our friends in Bürs (Int. Briefmarkenverein Rosenegg) still takes place virtually. Always 4th Monday of the month at 7 pm. You always receive the invitation by mail. Since the virtual lectures are occasionally attended by guests from Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands and Romania, it makes sense to keep the virtual format. The lectures deal with philatelic illustration of general topics. Those who are interested in the previous lectures can read them here (title and short summary), with password (please ask) it is also possible to view the PowerPoint slides of the last lectures.
- And also our friends just over the border, the Philatelisten-Verein Rheintal, is meeting again every 1st Saturday of the month at 3 pm in the restaurant Rosengarten in Widnau.
This is all good news and let’s hope we don’t have to go back to zero……
